Why a child with a runny nose has a better chance against COVID-19, and what can be done to protect themselves

The mucus that lines our airways, lungs, intestines, and urogenital membranes, is the main line of defense against infections, trapping bacteria and viruses before they can cause serious damage.

Unfortunately, we have a very negative perception of mucus.
We spend a lot on medications to suppress them, even without knowing that this can mean prolonging the disease.

That nasty “wet mucus” that lines our airways, lungs, intestines, and urogenital membranes, is the main line of defense against infections, trapping bacteria and viruses before they can cause serious damage.

It’s time to change our perception of mucus!

How do we do this?

We must stop drying out our mucous membranes:

  1. Minimize the use of heaters and air conditioners that dry out the air.

  2. Use humidifiers with purified or distilled water

  3. Reduce or eliminate smoking or vaping

  4. Hydrate, hydrate, and hydrate!

How do we support our mucous membranes?

Omega fatty acids are the building blocks of mucous membranes, particularly the oft-overlooked Omega 7 , discovered by Harvard researchers (2008) as a lipokine.
Small amounts are found in fish, macadamia nuts, and avocados, but the “king” of Omega 7 is sea buckthorn fruit/oil (also known as SeaBerry®), actively used in India, Tibet, Russia, Eastern Europe, and Finland.

The mucosa protects us from birth

The “innate” mucous membrane system accompanies us from birth.
With age we can lose it.
When women suffer from vaginal dryness related to low estrogen, it is also the loss of the mucous membrane.
Some drugs and stress also deplete mucous membranes.

American researchers have found that cigarette smoke suppresses a protein that causes the natural death of mucus-producing cells in the airways of bronchitis patients.
This may help explain the higher mortality rate of COVID-19 in smokers.

Other previous situations experienced and that serve as experience

In 2009, the rapid spread of the H1 N1 flu virus, sometimes called “swine flu,” scared people around the world.
Before an effective vaccine was available, Professor Montagnier, Nobel Prize in Medicine 2008, had given recommendations to prevent this respiratory infection.
Among the usual hygienic precautions, such as washing hands frequently with soap, not touching your eyes, nose or mouth, and eating a nutritious diet, Montagnier emphasized the importance of drinking plenty of fluids.

The mucous membranes that cover your upper respiratory tract (mouth, larynx, throat, nose) are part of your immune system.
They must be kept moist to do their job, i.e., protect your body against infection.
Mucus is secreted along with other infection-fighting substances that make up your immune system.
If your upper respiratory tract is not kept moist, not enough mucus is produced.
This, in turn, increases the risks of inflammation (rhinitis, sinusitis, and more) and infection (from bacteria, viruses, parasites).
Water and hot infusions are an effective measure to keep the upper respiratory tract moist.

What did Professor Dr. Luc Montagnier recommend?

Dr. Montagnier also suggested using natural (clinically and scientifically approved) dietary supplements to help protect us against inflammation and infection.
He had personally experienced Immun’Âge based on fermented papaya and spoke about its preventive action for respiratory infections in a 2009 French television interview (1).

Immun’Âge is a 100% natural dietary supplement made by fermenting non-genetically modified papayas.
It combines two well-known natural keys to good health in Japan, i.e., papaya and fermentation.

Dr. Montagnier’s recommendations are valid to protect yourself.

Immun’Âge, a food supplement containing only fermented papaya, has been shown to be able to naturally stimulate your first line of defense.

The properties of Immun’Âge have been tested by world-renowned scientists whose research has been published and communicated at international conferences and meetings.

It is a white powder presented in small sachets of 3 grams.
It’s easy to ingest: you put the powder under your tongue and let saliva dissolve it before swallowing it.

Saliva will activate the active compounds in the product.

If you experience mild symptoms, such as swelling of the mucous membranes or tingling in the throat or nose, take one sachet immediately, another about six hours later, and a third before bedtime.
Take on an empty stomach.
Symptoms should go away quickly.
Continue taking Immun’Âge (for one week).

Immun’Âge is produced naturally after fermenting papaya for 9 months, without the use of preservatives or chemicals and under strict quality standards.
