The situation of confinement and uncertainties can accentuate stress and fatigue

Stress is a situation in which human beings have found themselves for millions of years.
Since he was a hunter, having to fight the beast or flee.

Now the threats we face are different, many of them are psychological, such as work, family or the situation we are experiencing now due to COVID-19, confined at home without being able to go out.

Although this opportunity to spend more time with the family, playing with the children, cooking new recipes and inventing new ways to exercise online etc., can be gratifying for many, it is surely difficult for many to either live together or not be able to socialize, enjoy nature and go to the beach or the mountains.
Breathing fresh air, getting those rays of sunlight on our faces and feeling their heat, taking the bike and playing ball with the children…

For many others, the situation will not basically be resisting at home, but they may be experiencing stressful situations, some due to problems they already had with their partner and that now come to light when they spend more time together.
We have seen in the news how the number of divorces in China has increased: they even have a three-week waiting list.

Another issue that can be critical is that of not being able to work and not being able to bring sustenance home.
Or having suffered an ERTE from the company with uncertainty regarding the future of work.

And those who unfortunately have a family member in the Hospital or who has died.
Doctors, nurses, stretcher-bearers, nursing home or clinic cooks, pharmacists, and a large number of people who remain “hidden” helping every day, suffer stress.
All with the same purpose, to fight to survive in this unexpected situation and lacking many logical explanations.

It is now when we can make use of resilience and support ourselves with a food supplement that helps us combat this type of situation, making our body feel better nourished and with those vitamins that make us stronger to combat this stress and fatigue and not decay or get sick as a result of what each of us is experiencing.

How stress starts

Stress is a state of threatened homeostasis, caused by a psychological, environmental or physiological “stressor”.

It is the consequence of an external and/or internal stimulus, which activates the HPA axis (hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal) and the sympathetic nervous system resulting in a physiological change or an adaptation mechanism, so that the body can live with the threat.

Sometimes stress can be good, such as preparing a party or a trip, but when stress is bad it can lead us to a state of anxiety or depression, since we have the feeling (or it is a reality) that we cannot control the cause or causes that produce it, and from an acute situation we move on to a chronic situation.

Symptoms of stress

  • – Starting to smoke or smoking more than usual
  • – Weakness or slight tremors between meals
  • – Difficulty falling asleep
  • – Weight problems
  • – Muscle cramps, muscle tension
  • – Increased heart rate
  • – Dry mouth
  • – Excessive sweating
  • – Difficulty making decisions
  • – Feeling depressed or sad

In the case of confinement, it may be emotional stress and this can lead to an imbalance in the production of hormones and in the synthesis of neurotransmitters.

With stress, our body generates more cortisol, as a consequence, we will sleep worse.

In an initial stage of stress, we may synthesize more DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) which helps us maintain this stage of “resistance” to stress.
But if it goes on for too long, then DHEA production drops.
Another consequence is that cortisol can end up dropping a lot due to failure of our adrenals.
and then we will enter a stage of acute or chronic fatigue.

That is why it is important that on the one hand we do some breathing exercises or yoga, meditation… and on the other hand, nourish us with omega 3 fatty acids so that our neurons can connect and flow the reflections, thoughts or controlled reactions of appropriate response to a given situation.

Because sometimes stress does not allow us, it does not allow us to think and we can feel mentally blocked at the same time as tired.

Active Stress Control

In this sense, Salengei’s Active Stress Control can help you, a food supplement indicated to relieve symptoms associated with stress, tiredness and fatigue.

It contains Omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil, cold extraction (76% DHA in the form of triglycerides) and B vitamins.

Omega 3 is not only good for cardiovascular function, but also and specifically DHA, it is good for neuronal synapses, which contributes to the normal functioning of the brain.

If we are talking about the brain, vitamin B5 or pantothenic acid is necessary for normal intellectual performance.

As for the vitamins that help reduce tiredness and fatigue, we have to take vitamins B2, B3, B5, B6, B9 and B12.

For the proper functioning of the Nervous System, the key vitamins are B1, B2, B3, B6, B8, and B12.

But as we said, many of these situations affect our psychological function, and therefore for their maintenance under normal conditions we are going to rely on vitamins B1, B3, B6, B8, B9 and B12.

Therefore, a food supplement such as Active Stress Control is our perfect ally so that our body feels nourished and has the strength to fight and resist in stressful situations such as the current confinement due to COVID-19.
